The Ancient Radio Players have a Christmas Red Dust show at The Ritz Theatre, Shawnee, OK,7:30pm.  Come out and join the fun!
 
Burnt, a radio script, was performed at The Friends of Old Time Radio in October.
 
Thee and Thou, a farce that follows the antics of Shakespeare and his friends, has been accepted for production by Buckham Alley Theatre, MI.
 
Bret is planning a documentary about Dr. Dorothy Summers who was the bedrock of ECU Theatre for nearly 40 years.
 
The Ancient Radio Players' 10th anniversary show is at The Ritz Theatre, Shawnee, OK October 30th at 7:30pm. 
 
Bret's radio show, Thomas Remley, PI:  "In a Cold and Lonely Place" was accepted for performance by Shoestring Radio Theatre in San Fran, CA.  This is the second Thomas Remley script accepted for performance by the troupe.
 
Bret is in rehearsals for Medea at WSU, which goes up October 22-25.
 
Bret's one-act, Frybread-n-Peaches, showed at the Chickasaw Summer Arts Academy, Friday, July 31st.
 
The Library, a serial radio show is in the works!  Bret has recorded the vocals and will mix music and sound effects very soon.  Stay tuned for updates on this new radio show!
 
Bret has finished the second Thomas Remley, P.I. radio script entitled:  "In a Cold and Lonely Place."

The Missing Reindeer--a radio show--has been accepted for production by Shoestring Radio, San Francisco, CA.
 
Bret has recorded 4 interviews for From the Balcony, a radio show for Wichita State University Internet Radio.  Each episode spotlights a graduating senior from the WSU Theatre program.
 
Christmas is Coming--a one-act comedy--is finished.  See the Plays page for a synopsis.
 
Chalk in the Rain is finished--a Native American play that Bret will submit to Native Voices at the Autry in Los Angeles, CA.  See the Plays page for a synopsis.
 
Bret is set to be one of the theatre instructors at this The Chickasaw Summer Arts Academy in Ada, OK--the last 2 weeks in July.
 
Bret is researching the American actor, William Gillette, for a possible screenplay. 
 
Bret is developing a mystery play--221 B--a Sherlock Holmes story.
 
Night and Silence is finished.  It's a mystery play about the missing Shakespeare manuscript:  Love's Labour's Wonne.  Bret is looking for a venue.  See the Plays page for a synopsis.
 
Bret will be directing Medea in the fall at WSU.

Bret is currently working on his mystery novel Listener in the Dark.
 
The Ancient Radio Players had a show March 19 in Hugo, OK.  The show went well and we had a good time at the reception afterwards!
 
Bret's directing debut at Wichita State University was A Midsummer Night's Dream.  The show ran March 12-15.  The students did very well and it was well received.

Bret gave a playwriting workshop at the KCACTF in Lawrence, KS January 22.

Bret is set to give a book review presentation for Nouveau Livre in OKC, September 3rd.
